Ofsted
Ofsted says ....
St Margaret's-at-Cliffe Primary School has received a GOOD judgement for each of the key areas of the inspection framework.
Please do read the full report, but for ease here are some highlighted and summarised some key points:
- Pupils are happy and thriving: Our pupils feel safe, settled, and supported, and the relationships between staff and children are a key part of their success. Pupils really feel encouraged to do their best.
- Great behaviour and attitudes: Our pupils are respectful, kind, and always strive to meet the expectations set by the school. Behaviour is fantastic, both in the classroom and around the school. Well done children!
- Strong early reading and phonics teaching: The early years phonics programme is working well, giving children a strong start in reading.
- Support for everyone: We’re committed to making sure all children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), have the support they need to succeed. We tailor our approach to meet the needs of each pupil, and it's great to see this reflected in the report.
- Leadership and governance: Parent and carer support for what we do and the impact that has on our children’s learning has been recognised and I continue to appreciate this on a daily basis. Our governors also play a key role in helping us stay on track.
