The children were treated to a live musical concert when we were visited by the musicians from the Bach to the Future Roadshow. The three musicians each represented one of the instrument family (brass, strings and woodwind) and gave the children a varied show including music from film, TV and musical theatre, and a range of different styles from classical and jazz to popular music. There was also plenty of opportunity for audiience participation and the children wholeheartedly joined in. This was a great experience for our pupils and one which we hope will have given them an understanding of just how valuable music is to our world and to our everyday lives.
